Ontario Increases Restrictions to Stay-at-Home Order

Yesterday, the provincial government announced increased restrictions to the current stay-at-home order, which has been extended by two weeks.

These restrictions do not affect health care services, including optometry. Optometrists continue to follow the College’s COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control guidance, as well as the Ministry of Health guidance.

The College continues to keep abreast of changing restrictions due to COVID-19 and to keep optometrists informed of changes that would affect optometry care.
