The Minister, in a letter dated October 4, 2014, had asked the Councils and transitional Councils of Ontario’s 26 health regulatory Colleges to prioritize transparency and to report back on the concrete steps they were taking to increase it. The College’s report outlines our past, present, and future efforts to protect the public by enhancing the information we make available about our members. With increased, easily accessible and understood information, members of the public will have more tools with which to choose their health care providers.
